‘I was speaking to Alan, the Trustee, last week and few other parents. It was amazing to see how supportive and understanding everyone was. And most certainly as a parent it gives you the opportunity to talk and share ideas with other parents as well as feel good by seeing your child progress.’

Dear Team at South Bucks RDA
I just wanted to say a big thank you to the team here. I was part of the Mary Wanless group and had such a super time.   It was so lovely to turn up at a venue to find a super clean happy yard with lovely staff members only too happy to help.   I’ve run my own livery for 19 years of 25 horses and competed up to Grand Prix so stayed in many places and this was on the top of my list!   I bought my young pony for his first stay away and it couldn’t have been a better experience for him.        Many thanks   Sam Turner & Duke

Being back ‘working’ with horses after 45 years; a wealth of experience from the coaches and other volunteers; working as a team and making new friends; very rewarding watching the children and adults grow in confidence.  Wish I had joined several years earlier.

The South Bucks RDA is an amazing place to be.  Pav has grown into himself while he has been horse riding here.  He has developed confidence, independence, and internal happiness and contentment; something that I thought he would always struggle with.

South Bucks RDA is a wonderful, warm and welcoming place; always encouraging Bryony.  The volunteers are always approachable and offer sound advice and support us.  Bryony feels accepted and enjoys working with horses.  No matter what has happened to her in the week she knows the horses and volunteers are there for her as a peaceful sanctuary where she can enjoy her successes.  Thanks for everything.

Just wanted to thank everybody involved in arranging a brilliant training session this morning and this is the only way I know how to do this. It was really enjoyable, so full of learning and gave everyone the chance to really ask questions and get hands on experience with knowledgeable and helpful feedback from both Robert Pickles (who was an excellent teacher), Frankie and the RDA instructors – all equally generous in sharing their time, knowledge and patience. We even had tea, coffee and a lovely lunch thrown in for good measure. As a result I definitely feel a lot more confident and will hopefully be a more useful RDA volunteer going forwards and really do appreciate very much all the time and effort that went into organising such a well thought out and beneficial morning for us.

Jake has been riding for 2 years and during this time he has grown in confidence around the stable, the horses and riding. Jake is always keen to go horse riding, he enjoys every Saturday and is practically pushing me out the door to hurry up! The volunteers have been brilliant with Jake, patient and kind, always understanding of his needs. I really appreciate their dedication and time they give up to help Jake learn to ride a horse. The facilities and horses are excellent, I have nothing but praise for the up-keep and running of the facility. It is a real privilege to be involved in such an organisation.

‘..thank you Mabel, Rosie, Pip & Billy, and a HUGE thanks to the RDA team at Fulmer – you guys really rock!’  Clare (Horseheard)
