South Bucks Riding for the Disabled Association (SBRDA) was honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on Monday 12th May in celebration of the centre’s 60th anniversary.

As President of RDA UK, The Princess Royal has been a long-standing supporter of the organisation’s work. During her visit, she met with volunteers, riders, coaches, and trustees, taking time to learn about the centre’s history, its remarkable impact on the local community, and its plans for the future.

It was a tremendous honour to have HRH The Princess Royal join us for this very special occasion. Her continued support and dedication to the RDA movement means so much to our riders, volunteers, and supporters. This celebration is something that our community will never forget.

The Princess Royal toured the facilities, observed riding sessions in action, and unveiled a commemorative bench to mark the centre’s Diamond Jubilee. She also spoke with many of the centre’s riders, staff, volunteers, Trustees and supporters – everyone was thrilled to meet HRH.

Enormous thanks goes to our sponsors who generously support us and special thanks to Stoke Park who contributed so generously to our 60th celebration.

We will be sharing more information and special thanks to our supporters over the coming weeks and we will also be sharing access to more photographs from the day so that those present can browse the gallery and save their own precious memories of a wonderful day.
