On July 29th, volunteers and staff benefitted from a Longling Clinic, delivered by Ashleigh Sanderson.
Long lining is essentially riding the horse from the ground, using two lines to guide the horse’s body and act as a pair of reins. It’s great for core, coordination and for refining the aids and can be used with pretty much any RDA horse that is comfortable with long lines, as the majority of the constructive work is done is walk!
It was a great day – thank you to Ashleigh and everyone who attended.
