Special mention to Ben who was awarded the Rachel Plumbe trophy. This trophy is awarded annually in memory of Rachel who volunteered for RDA for over 30 years. The Award recognises outstanding progress or improvement in difficult circumstances. Groups from across the South were invited to nominate a rider whom they thought would be worthy of this Award. We are so proud of Ben who has proven who continues to stride forward with courage and determination—proving that the right environment can turn challenges into triumphs!
Our wonderful horses and ponies, Harpa, Duke, Peggy, Pip and Chequers all did their job admirably and of course a huge thanks to our staff and volunteers – days like today couldn’t happen without you!
