We had a lovely time on Monday 19th May welcoming some of the residents of Signature Care Home, Farnham Common, to Tea With A Pony. Rosie and Freddie loved meeting the residents. They brought smiles and chatter.
Tea With a Pony (TWP) gives fulfilling and enriching experiences with horses to people living with dementia or other similar conditions. Participants can enjoy a slice of cake and cup of tea, and then have the opportunity to have a sensory experience with a pony.
Launched in 2021, Tea With a Pony is an RDA activity focusing on sensory experiences with RDA horses and ponies. It was launched as part of RDAs nationwide dementia project in response to the growing number of people living with dementia and similar conditions.
