As a volunteer-led charity, fundraising is essential to keeping our activities running and accessible.

The Role
As our Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising initiatives to support the group. This is a flexible volunteer position that can be shaped around your availability and work can be carried out from home – although we’d encourage you to visit us at the yard to see the ‘magic’ of South Bucks RDA in person from time to time!

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organise fundraising events and activities
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities, support our Trustees in applying for grants and identifying local partnerships
  • Support building relationships with donors, sponsors, and the local community

You will be fully supported by our team of Trustees, volunteers and staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Enthusiasm for supporting a charitable cause
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Creativity and initiative in developing fundraising ideas
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous fundraising or events experience is helpful but not essential – enthusiasm and ideas are more important.

  • The opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives
  • Experience in fundraising, event planning, and charity operations
  • Being part of a friendly and supportive volunteer team
  • Flexibility to fit around your schedule

Time Commitment
